Conflict Of Interest Policy

CONFLICT OF INTEREST POLICY

The policy of the European Archieves of Social Sciences is for all authors to disclose whether there is a conflict of interest in their articles.

Articles are published with the following statements or supporting documents provided:

Disclosures of conflicts of interest by authors; and Statements, along with explanations of the role of these sources in the design of the study, including sponsor names, if any, support sources for the study, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation; writing the report; submission of the report for publication; or a statement declaring no such interest from supporting sources; and A statement from the authors indicating whether they have access to the study data, along with an explanation of the nature and scope of the access, including whether access is ongoing.

Editors may request a signed declaration form from authors of a study supported by a funding provider with a registered or financial interest ultimately, stating, "I had full access to all data in this study and take complete responsibility for the integrity of the data and the accuracy of the data analysis."

If there is no conflict, Authors should use the statement "The author(s) declare(s) no conflicts of interest."

The European Archieves of Social Sciences recommends that Authors refer to the ICMJE recommendations for guidance on conflict of interest statements.
