İkincil Travmatik Stres ile Terör Kaygısı ve Depresyon Arasındaki İlişkisinin İncelenmesi: Geleneksel Derleme

Terör olayları, bireyleri yalnızca doğrudan değil, dolaylı olarak da travmaya maruz bırakabilmekte ve bu durum, sonraki nesillerin ruh sağlığı üzerinde olumsuz etkiler oluşturabilmektedir. Bu bağlamda sonraki nesillerde ikincil travmatik stresle ilişkili kaygı ve depresyon gibi birçok ruhsal sorunlar ortaya çıkarabilmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, ikincil travmatik stres ile terör kaygısı ve depresyon arasındaki ilişkiyi geleneksel yaklaşım yöntemini kullanarak ilgili literatür aracılığıyla incelemektir. Araştırmada geleneksel derleme yöntemi kullanılmış ve ilgili veri tabanlarında yer alan çalışmalar taranarak, toplam 59 çalışma incelenmiştir. Literatür taramasında Google Scholar, PubMed, Ulakbim, TürkMedline ve ScienceDirect gibi veri tabanlarından yararlanılmıştır. İncelenen çalışmaların bulguları, terör kaynaklı ikincil travmatik stres ile terör kaygısı ve depresyon arasında pozitif ve anlamlı bir ilişki olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Araştırmalar, dolaylı olarak travmaya maruz kalan bireylerde ikincil travmatik stres, terör kaygısı ve depresyonun sıklıkla birlikte görüldüğünü ve bu durumların birbirini döngüsel şekilde etkilediğini göstermektedir. Çalışmalarda ayrıca, ikincil travmatik stres, terör kaygısı ve depresyonun; birbirleriyle bağlantılı ruh sağlığı sorunları olduğu, bireyler ve toplumlar açısından ciddi riskler taşıdığı vurgulanmaktadır. Terör olaylarının hem doğrudan hem de dolaylı etkileri, bireylerde yoğun kaygı, umutsuzluk ve yaşam kalitesinde azalma gibi olumsuz sonuçlara yol açmaktadır. İkincil travmatik stres ve terör kaygısı, depresyonun hem nedeni hem de pekiştiricisi olarak psikolojik sağlığı tehdit eden önemli etmenler arasında yer almaktadır. Bu çalışmada, erken tanı, önleyici müdahaleler ve destekleyici ortamların; travma ve duygusal bozulma döngüsünü kırmada kritik bir rol oynadığı vurgulanmıştır. Terör olaylarına bağlı olarak gelişen ikincil travmatik stres ile terörle ilişkili kaygı ve depresyon arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesinin, alandaki bilgi birikimine ve uygulamalara önemli katkılar sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.
